Tori Spelling has regretted letting the cameras into her life as part of a reality show entitled True Tori.

Tori Spelling Regrets Doing Reality TV

The show explored the ins and outs of her relationship with Dean McDermott. By the sounds of it, she wishes she could undo it all. In an interview on the 9021OMG podcast, Tori stated: “I regret the second season, which you [Sisanie Reategui] told me not to do. And you were right on. Because it shouldn’t have been a series. It wasn’t a series.” So why did she regret it? Well, it seems that Tori was not in a condition to be on TV, given that she was going through some difficulties in her relationship.

While she is no stranger to TV shows, this was a case of keeping quiet unless it was necessary. And as for Tori, she broke those rules. She added: “It was about me expressing myself at a moment in time where I felt like I wanted to have a voice and a voice for women everywhere who were going through what I was going through at the time. It should have been a self-contained, one season, and that was it.”

But it was not just Tori who had regretted it all. The same could be said for Dean. He expressed similar sentiments and suggested the couple’s openness actually had worked against them. That is why Dean could no longer carry on with the show. In an interview with Access Hollywood, he said: “I can’t keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world.

“I don’t watch it. I can’t. It’s really difficult. I can’t do it anymore, for my soul.” And it is not a surprise when we look at the difficulties that Dean has suffered. He notoriously had a mental health breakdown and even checked into a clinic in order to address his sex addiction. Naturally, airing such sensitive issues on TV is not going to do you any favours, regardless of how much you are getting paid to do it.

It looks like this is the last time we will see Tori and Dean being so open on a reality TV show.
