Tori Spelling has opened up on how she is dealing with her child being bullied at school.
Tori Spelling Reacts To Her Kid Being Bullied At School-‘I’m Here For them’
Tori, for her part, is a mother to five children which does bring about many different challenges. And one of those has been the ability of her children to adapt to school. This has already been seen when Spelling spoke out about her 14-year-old daughter, Stella, who was also bullied.
But given that Stella managed to graduate despite her issues, it has given Tori more confidence to do what she feels is right as a parent for her other children.
In an interview with People magazine, she said: “My kids just went back to school and just when you think one got through it, one of my other children was bullied on the first day of school.
“I felt like with the one, we just got through it and we are really working on re-boosting her confidence and just bringing out her skills.” As a result, Tori has made it clear that she will take a leading role in tackling this issue.
She expanded on how experts in the field do not necessarily act in the appropriate manner with suggestions that teachers scrutinise her kids too. That is why Tori made it clear that she wants to have an environment where her children are able to tell her anything.
And in the process of doing so, this will tackle any issues such as bullying that may arise. Her following comments confirmed as much: “You have to trust yourself as the parent because you’re going to be your kids’ biggest advocate.
“And that’s why I teach my kids. I’m here for them now but I want to teach them to be their own best advocate when they’re adults.” With Tori by their side, her children will be in a good place to tackle whatever obstacles come their way. So there you have it folks.
