‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers indicate it’s pretty obvious that sometimes she can be introverted, which isn’t really all that uncommon among artistic types. We need time to recharge our batteries away from social situations and away from people who aren’t in the circle of people that we feel comfortable around no matter what.
Moriah Plath and Max’s relationship is still very new, and she didn’t go to high school so she is new at navigating these kinds of relationships and sometimes when one is new one underestimates the sheer amount of time that goes into making a relationship work.

I get where Max is coming from, he wants a relationship and he wants it with this girl and he wants it now! But Max is young and he doesn’t seem to realize that Moriah is very, very new at all this and sometimes it can be overwhelming for someone who was originally cloistered away from the world to suddenly be out in it. She has had no experience at all with guys so I’m amazed that she’s doing as well as she’s doing, honestly.
Here’s hoping that Max is understanding in the next episode because he seemed rather gruff when he was talking to Moriah on their date in the next episode. I am pretty sure she didn’t mean to insult him or make him think that she hated him in any way, because in this episode she was so excited about him and even wrote a song about how he made her feel.
I hope he doesn’t go and ruin that and make her cry, because she doesn’t deserve that. Moriah needs a guy with patience, and for her sake, right now, I hope that guy is Max. Because it would suck to have a very public breakup in front of millions of people, it’s bad enough that they’re having a fight, at least for Moriah.
I can’t imagine the mortification she must feel. Moriah’s still a teenager, so my advice to Max would be to go easy on her, a flower never blooms if you crush it first. Stay tuned!!!
