As we all know, Kim Plath from Welcome to Plathville recently got a DUI, but that was an isolated incident, right? Nothing else in her life was going that wrong, was it? Well, be looks like it may be not be the only thing. Most recently in it was posted on Reddit that there was a For Rent sign up in Kim’s dance studio.
Now, this could mean that they are renting out the apartment space above the dance studio which would make perfect sense as there is more than one apartment there. However, the sign doesn’t say anything about apartments, it just says “For Rent” and Kim’s dance studio looks pretty deserted. In fact there are rumors that it really hasn’t been active since the summer.
Is Kim Plath’s dream of a dance studio up in smoke before it ever began?
Some have speculated that Kim rented out the space in order to help her pay for any incurring court costs she may have. That might be true, but it’s a bit sad that her dream of having a dance studio would essentially be over before it even began. Then again, things might look drastically different for Kim now that she is no longer married to Barry.
She no longer has the luxuries afforded to a married woman, namely, Barry’s income. We’re not saying that Barry has cut her off, but seeing as he is vehemently against drinking he might have done so now that she’s turning to alcohol, or at least that’s how it looks at first glance.
Barry has come up smelling like a rose, but that is because he keeps his head down and doesn’t actually do anything. If he is a control freak, then he hides it very well and only does it off-camera in the off season. We haven’t actually seen Barry go off the rails, at least not yet.
However, seeing as he was originally the one that implemented this strict religious structure in his life and had Kim follow, then it would make sense that he is tightening the purse strings now.
Whether that is a last ditch effort to try and reel her back in, we’ll have to wait till season 5 to see, but if they were reunited then it would have been on social media by now. If not theirs, then one of the kids (probably Lydia Plath) would be rejoicing. We’ll see how this plays out. Stay tuned!!!
