TLC Dr. Pimple Popper Spoilers reveal that Dr. Lee has a patient with a cyst on his head. The patient has a Pilar cyst. In this episode, Dr. Lee pops this Pilar cyst a little too hard. When Dr. Lee starts to pop the cyst, she pushes on it a little too hard and it explodes all over her arm.
Also, another part of this episode features Gerard, who is 46 and from Brooklyn, New York. He calls himself “Lumpy.” He starts out by discussing when he had his first lump. He was in his 20’s when he first noticed the first lump on his body. They were benign lipomas. He would ask his doctors about them and they would tell him that he could have them removed. In his thirties, he said the lumps were not too bad, then at 40, they got dramatically worse than before.

Gerard discusses how he cannot find the right clothes to hide the lumps they have gotten so out of control. He is insecure because of the lumps. He has not counted them all, but he feels that there are at least 50-75 on his body. Gerard is a teacher and he has to be in front of the students daily. He discusses how he used to be proud of his body when he was younger. He worked out and when the lumps started coming up, he simply gave up on his image.
He is embarrassed to go to the gym, and he will not look in a full-length mirror. He does not like to look at his lumps. He gets angry when he sees them. He is married with two children. He talks about how he has to be a strong person for his family and put on a different face. He is frustrated and his wife is very worried about him and his self-esteem. She says he is not social anymore and he is losing himself. His wife says that she will support him getting them removed.
He goes to see Dr. Lee for a consultation. She is worried about his blood clotting disease. Dr. Lee is scared to perform the surgery because of the blood clotting issue.
