When you first look at David, it looks as if he had two noses. The build-up was so bad that it caused this huge problem. Sandra said that she would help him to be a good looking man again! She explained more about this condition. “This is a condition called Rhinophyma. It’s a condition that is associated with Rosacea. It causes an overgrowth of tissue, particularly on the nose. “

The more Sandra looked at the issue, she could see how it was causing his nasal cavity to be completely obstructed. She said this was the reason that David was having such a hard time breathing. As she began to look at the rest of his face, in order to check for any other spots, she did find one underneath his eye. She knew that she needed to focus on his nose first, but the spot under his eye really began to bother her.
Even one of her coworkers mentioned the bump underneath David’s eye and they were both extremely concerned. She did focus on the Rhinophyma first and also explained her other plan. “My plan is to bring up the growth before he leaves, but I don’t want David to be concerned. I want him to really understand what we are doing and be calm for the Rhinophyma surgery, which is a big surgery.”
