Well, that’s kind of what it felt like. I was reminded of the old America Idol Auditions where they let us see a bunch of the clips of the ones that didn’t make it first? Now, personally I thought that the lady that was from Ethiopia and spoke Amharic was intriguing but it looks like Robin, the Nanny that was almost on Soul Train, is the one that won the preliminary round.
Deon Derrico was a really big fan of hers, as well as all of the kids, especially little Deonnie, she gave her a glowing reccomendation. However, Karen Derrico did not seem convinced. Karen said that, in fact, they are just going to do a trial run with Robin to see how that goes. Out of all the Nannies, Robin seemed to have the most experience with large groups of kids.
TLC ‘Doubling Down With The Derricos’ Spoilers: The Nanny Auditions
Unlike one of the other Nannies who looked at the Derricos in horror and actually asked if this was The Brady Bunch, um, yeah, I’m pretty sure that comment’s not going to get you a callback, sis. Robin said that the most that she had had at one time was six, however, but hey help is help in this day and age and Karen definitely needs all the help that she can get.
Especially now that they’ve gotten the call that baby Dawsyn is getting to come home by Christmas. However there’s a catch to all this, Dawsyn has to have a feeding tube and Deon is feeling overwhelmed with all the info that the doctor is giving them for this feeding tube and Karen feels like one wrong turn and everything will be devastating.
My worry is that the Nanny will be fine with the other kids but not know what to do with Baby Dawsyn, but maybe having a Nanny will let Karen focus on baby Dawsyn while her other children are getting taken care of. After all, she did say that they were very well behaved children, and you can definitely tell that. So now it just comes down to the moment of truth, how will Robin do? Stay tuned!!!
