You know, Robin the Nanny did a great job with the children and had a great energy with them. Deon said that her Grandmotherly energy was just what he was looking for, but Karen didn’t seem all that convinced. Now, that was probably because she was distracted by the medical news she got where baby Dawsyn was coming home and she was trying to mentally prepare for tube feeding at the same time.

This is something that can intimidate even the most prepared adults, but we never actually got confirmation on whether Robin was hired or not, but it looked like GiGi stayed on through the holidays, so maybe we will find out after Christmas.

Still, I will say that Robin held her own pretty well. The kids absolutely loved her and were excited to see her. Deon said that he thought that they had found their Mrs. Doubtfire which is really good because that’s exactly what he wanted for the kids.

But my only fear is that… has Robin had any medical training? Now obviously, they’re going to keep Dawsyn at the hospital until she no longer has to be tube fed becausethe first go round of at-home tube feeding did not go so well. But if Dawsyn does have other issues that do arise, does she have the training to handle it or is this going to be a life-long thing?

That’s the only thing I really worry about because Dawsyn may require more care and attention than the other chidren at first and while Karen is a superb Mom and wil undoubtedly rise to the occassion once she gets her daughter home, will both Deon and Robin be able to handle any of the responsibility as well?

Deon might come around to it later, right now he’s a little bit triggered and distant with everything, but Robin.. what about her? What are her credentials besides watching a large number of kids?

Does she have any medical training at all, would she be willing to take any courses or accompany Karen to any of Dawsyn’s appointments to be able to assist her? Would Karen let her? All excellent questions. I guess we shall see. Stay tuned!!!
