TLC Counting On Spoilers: Rumors in the Duggar Family
The rumor of this courtship first began in May of 2019. The Duggar family went to Greece and we saw Jason Duggar getting close to a girl there. We all thought this was a serious relationship and we were hoping these two would get married soon. This wasn’t the case because these two weren’t dating, in fact, the girl standing so close to Jason was actually dating his brother, James. The girl’s name is Lauren Caldwell.

James hasn’t been on the show very much because TLC Counting On is focused more on the married children of the Duggar family. He has started to appear on the show more frequently now though. James is 18 now and Lauren is 19. There have been fans of the show that posted on Reddit that said they saw them getting close and holding hands. This relationship does seem a little strange because James may not be the only Duggar to date Lauren.
When the family was in Greece, Jason and Lauren were spotting more than once together and becoming rather close. One of the tour guides with the family even said that Jason kept referring to her as his future bride. The rumor that these two were getting married died rather quickly and many fans were not sure what to think of it all. Did they break up? Did Lauren decide she wanted another Duggar brother?
TLC Counting On Spoilers: Love Triangles in the Duggar Family
It seems that the Duggar family has had a love triangle in it already. If you watch the show, you know that Lauren’s sister; Kendra is married to Joseph Duggar. Jedidiah Duggar was actually dating Kendra first! The Duggar family hasn’t said anything to confirm this rumor, but by looking back on their social media accounts, we can see that these two were at least hanging out a lot, if not dating. The Duggar family may have even more secrets, but we do hope the best for James and Lauren and we hope to see more of them on Counting On in the near future.
