We haven’t seen too much of Bryson on the show, but we have heard a lot about him. He is one of Robert’s children. Up until about two weeks ago, everyone thought he was Robert’s only child. Robert decided to do a question and answer session on Instagram and a lot of fans had serious questions about Bryson and his mother. Robert took a lot of time to open up and explain to fans what the story is.

One fan asked, “Has Bryson’s mom ever met him besides birth? When did she leave his life?” Robert answered this question by saying, “Yes. One and a half years.” This started an even more detailed questioning and another fan said, “Hope Bryson’s mom is just in prison, not just dipped out. If she is, she loves her baby!” Robert wrote to that fan, “She’s a free woman. I have my phone number for five years, it ain’t changed.”

Quite a few fans don’t understand how a mother could just leave her child like that, but Robert did make the implication that the phone number is the same and it still works. She clearly doesn’t want a relationship with her son and this makes us think that she is not the mother he wanted her to be! There were more fans that asked if Robert thought that she might pop up now that Bryson is on television. He posted a GIF of someone shaking their head “no”.

Robert is grateful that he has Anny, who recently moved in with them. He also has the help of Bryson’s grandmother, Stephanie Woodcock. Stephanie is a big part of Bryson’s life and has shown that she will do anything to protect her grandson and take care of him! We only wish for Robert and Bryson because we know how hard it can be to raise a child on your own.
