TLC 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 days finds that Big Ed Brown and Rosemarie have finally met and they seem to have hit it off. They went to a hotel in Manila, which Rose said made her feel like a Princess. She had never stayed in a hotel with anyone previously. Ed was a perfect gentleman as well, he didn’t pressure Rose into being with him first thing. In fact, he seemed pleasantly surprised that there were two beds in the room instead of just one. When Rose asked “Why would there be two beds?” he simply told her that he didn’t want to pressure her and that he wasn’t ready to be with her intimately yet.
On the camera confessional however he said that he wanted Rose to take an STD test before he was with her intimately and that is a smart move. Most guys would jump in and possibly get themselves into a bad situation but not Ed, that’s a smart move that he is waiting to be with Rose until after the test results come back. A lot unecessary health problems could be prevented that way. He also wants her to open up more about her past, mostly, I think this includes details about her intimate past. Which is kind of important when you’re trying to avoid STDs. Even Rose said that she wasn’t ready to be with him yet, so it’s kind of nice that at least, desire-wise they are on the same page.
TLC 90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Before the 90 days – What was Rose expecting?
Or at least that’s the way it seemed after Ed took the pressure off. I have to wonder what Rose actually expected of Ed because she did not pack pajamas. Ed felt so bad that she didn’t pack pajamas, he thought that she didn’t have them so he felt that maybe he should have brought some along for her. But you have to wonder just what on earth she expected by not bringing along pajamas, or even some kind of negligee to sleep in. I’ll say this for Ed, you don’t find too many guys as chivalrous as that anymore, most guys these days would think, “Oh, she’s got no pajamas, score!” which I fully think is what Rose actually expected. In a way that is really sad and kind of telling about Rose’s past.
That’s not being said in a judgemental way, rather in a way that’s filled with sympathy for Rose because she seems really sweet and definitely deserves better than what she’s gotten. I can’t help but root for Rose and Ed because they seem like sweet people and I genuinely want them both to be happy, even if it doesn’t end up being with each other. This whole interaction is probably the catalyst which led to Ed and Rose going shopping in the open marketplace. She needed pajamas and Ed was more than happy to buy them for her. Although I am torn on how to feel. Did Rose believe that this relationship was going to be transactional in nature? One night with her meant money and gifts for ages or is there just some disconnect when it comes to boundaries that she is experiencing? Let’s hope it’s just the latter. Stay tuned!!!
