They have had quite the bumpy start in their relationship and many viewers were sure that they would not get married. We were all wrong and now the couple is working on the best ways to get together so they can start their life as a married couple. At first, Usman wanted to get married to Lisa and then come over to America. In order for him to do this, Lisa will have to get a sponsorship visa, but with the criminal record that she has, will it be possible?

Usman and Lisa met online and started chatting every day. At first, Lisa didn’t really see it as a thing, but the more they talked, the deeper their connection got and then a relationship began. There is quite an age gap between these two and Usman’s family is constantly bringing that up. Clearly, they feel that he should marry a younger, Muslim woman.

Even at first, Lisa wasn’t sure what to think. “I was 49 and Usman was 29 when we first met. And when we first met, I’ll be honest with you…I honestly thought, oh, great, another yahoo boy out of Nigeria that’s going to harass me to no end. And I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I don’t like that stigma.” Clearly, she gave him and chance, and now these two are happily married. (So to speak.)
One of the factors that may be keeping these two apart could be Lisa’s criminal record. She has been in trouble with the law many times. In 2015, she got arrested for stalking, in fact, the charges were Title 18 Chapter 27 Section 2079 offense, and this means that the person in question “strikes, shoves, kicks or has physical contact or threatens to harass, annoy, or alarm the victim.” She did plead guilty to this charge and paid a fine.
The behaviors described in this charge seems a lot like the behavior that she has shown with Amber and Usman’s friendship. The woman did speak out about the incident, “I filed charges on Lisa Hamme for stalking, placing a bounty on my head, and calling me all the time with threats.” Yikes! Does this sound familiar?
