Son of famed singer Tina Turner and ex-hubby Ike Turner has been found dead at the age of 62. Police responded to a death call at his Encino, California home at 9:40 AM even though at the time the identity of the person could not be confirmed.
His wife, Afida Turner posted on her IG a picture of him along with the caption that read, “My God Ronnie Turner a true angel huge soul highly spiritual. My husband, my best friend, my baby, I was your Mummy, your nurse, your little monster, I did my best to the end this time I was not able to save you.

I love you for these 17 years. This is very very very bad I am very mad. This is a tragedy. You with your brother Craig and your Father Ike Turner and Aline. Rest in Paradise. So unfair!”
Ronnie was having trouble breathing, and eventually stopped breathing, and all attempts to resuscitate him failed. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Born in 1960, he was born to Ike and Tina Turner joining his older brother, Craig (Craig died of suicide in 2007), Tina’s older son with saxophonist Raymond Hill.
Tina Turner has lived in Europe since 1995 with their husband Erwin Bach and relinquished her American Citizenship in 2013. Ronnie himself was an accomplished musician, playing in a band called Manufactured Funk. He even had a small part in the 1993 biopic of his Mom’s “What’s love got to do with it?”
It is unknown at this time what the funeral arrangements are or if Tina Turner, who is 83, will make it back to the US for any kind of final send-off. One can only assume that she would. He is survived by two other siblings, Ike Turner Jr. and Michael Turner.
According to Afida Turner’s latest post on IG she says that Ronnie got sick in 3 weeks “Fuck Cancer!” It is unknown what type or stages the cancer was at, but we do know now that it was cancer that killed Tina Turner’s son. Rest in Paradise, indeed. Stay tuned!!!
