Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) plan to take their third trip together. Their first two trips were in Los Angeles.
Holden Promised to Tell Claire the Truth About His Past with Audra
Now, they are headed to the Big Apple, and Holden has already promised Claire that if she joins him, he will tell her everything that happened between him and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in Los Angeles.
The deal was obviously far too intriguing for Claire to pass up. She’s been after the goods on Audra for a long time now. Plus, Claire has made it clear to Holden that she’s not a fan of secrets.
So, maybe their big trip to New York could lead to a passionate outcome for them. Holden has already come clean to Claire about his feelings for her.
She’s been wishy washy at best with him, but his telling her the truth may prompt her to trust him enough to give him a real chance, finally.
Claire has also been a very loyal and good friend to Holden since he learned from his mother, Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox), that Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) is his father.
Additionally, Malcolm is suffering from aplastic anemia and needs a bone marrow donor. Turns out, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is a match.
Malcolm is currently in New York awaiting surgery. Of course, Holden is going to New York to support his father. We have to wonder if romance is in the cards for Claire and Holden.
During their first trip to LA together, Holden and Claire hit the sheets. If memory serves, those two seemed to have a lot more heat than Claire and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) had when they were together.
Claire and Holden Could Be Good for Each Other
Maybe this time around, Claire may be more inclined to start a real relationship with him. Holden also hopes to have the opportunity to get to know his father, assuming his treatment goes well.
Claire might be good for him in the long run if they decide to pursue a romance once they return to Genoa City. It would be interesting to see these two pair up, as it would definitely get under Kyle’s skin.
Kyle claims to have accepted that Claire supposedly doesn’t want a serious relationship right now, but if she starts seeing Holden, he’ll undoubtedly feel very hurt and betrayed.
Claire initially dumped Kyle because she felt like she needed to “find herself.” She was on a journey of self-discovery, and part of that included going to LA with Holden.
Kyle was so jealous of their closeness that he even followed them to LA and gifted Claire a bouquet. Then, he used his son, Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), as the reason he came to LA to talk to her.
Claire didn’t let Kyle’s sudden appearance in LA spoil her time with Holden. However, when they came back to Genoa City, Claire backed off once she realized that Holden wasn’t being honest about his past. Now that he plans to tell her the truth, all that could change.
Holden and Claire slept together once. It’s not a leap to think that these two may fall into bed together again. However, this time their tryst could lead to something far more.
