‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) gives in easily to temptation. She needs to make money and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) offers her a “easy” way. But is anything with Tucker every easy? When will Phyllis learn?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Easy Way Or the Hard Way
Phyllis must pay the insurance company back. When she faked her death and tried to pin it on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) cashed out the $2 million life insurance policy. Now that Phyllis is not dead, she must pay this back.
She knows it is going to take her a long time to pay this back. She has not been able to find where Jeremy stashed this sum of money before he died, so she is on the hook to pay it. Her son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) offered her a job. She can work for him and slowly pay off her debt to the insurance company.
But then, Tucker McCall comes to her with a tantalizing offer. She can work for him and check into Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) financials for him. If she just does this job for him, she will make a cool $2.2 million dollars.
He pays her half of it and then she gains access to Billy’s financial information for him. But he doesn’t stop there. He wants her to do more, and she is not able to tell him “no”. She already took his money.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Next Step
Tucker tells her that now she must hack into Jabot’s finances. She needs to make a transfer from Jabot to Billy’s personal account. She is not interested in this at all. She doesn’t want to cause harm to Billy. Just like Phyllis, Billy has been trying to put his life back together. He doesn’t deserve this personal attack.
Tucker gets angry. He says that she has no choice but to do what he asks because he is paying her and she needs the money. The problem is, the naïve Phyllis has seen that she is not going to get off the hook for this $2.2 million easily.
She really thought she would have to open one page for him. But of course, it is not enough. She is going to have to do whatever he wants her to do, for a long time.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Will Phyllis Help Tucker but Inform the Abbotts?
Is Phyllis going to do whatever Tucker requires but then secretly tell the Abbotts what he is up to? It’s not so likely that she is going to give back the money and walk away. She doesn’t know Tucker’s whole plan, but she can see that he is going to hurt Billy. Will she take some action behind his back?
