‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that by the end of this week, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will catch Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) in a “compromising position.”
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Lily May See Cane and Phyllis Head Upstairs to a Room At The GCAC
We surmise that this means their flirting and seductive banter somehow leads to the bedroom. Maybe Lily sees Cane and Phyllis heading up to a room at the GCAC.
We have to wonder what kind of game Phyllis is playing with Cane. Would Phyllis put a stop to her enticing deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braden) if she starts falling for Cane?

Yet Phyllis is whip-smart and may be playing him. However, we do suspect that Phyllis didn’t give Victor complete control over Cane’s AI program.
She obviously likes Cane and enjoys his company. Phyllis may be ruthless, but she also has a heart. She knows that Cane is trying to reunite with his kids.
Since Phyillis managed to steal the AI software, she could also flip the switch on Victor and shut down their arrangement.
It’s evident that Phyllis and Cane have been dancing around each other for months. They have some chemistry despite Cane’s repeated and futile attempts to charm his way back into Lily’s heart.

That said, Phyllis may not want to put Cane in a situation where she prevents that from happening. We know she won’t reunite Cane with Lily.
Phyllis pointed out to Cane that he should stop pursuing someone who won’t accept him and look at what’s right in front of him.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Cane and Phyllis Could Run Arabesque Together
Either she’s hot for him or she’s trying to distract him from what she’s done. If Phyllis decides that she’s sweet on him, she may help him save Arabesque after all.
We also know that Christel Khalil will be leaving soon for maternity leave. She may somehow discover Phyllis and Cane in bed together and hightail it out of Genoa City in a fit of rage.
All we know is that Phyllis and Cane have much more chemistry than Lily and Cane. Lily constantly berates him, and all she does is tell him he screwed up.
She won’t help him much with the kids and refuses to give him the benefit of the doubt. The whole Aristotle Dumas debacle certainly didn’t win him any points with Lily.
It may be time for him to accept her decision and move on, finally. Since there is only so much rejection Cane can take, he may find comfort with Phyllis that he can’t get with Lily.

Besides, Cane and Phyillis could run his company together, which was essentially her original plan when she went to Cane’s estate in Nice.
She pitched her ideas to Cane and tried to convince him she was the right woman for the job. In the end, Phyllis knows that Victor is conniving and untrustworthy.
With all the people in Genoa City who view Phyllis and Cane as the town pariahs, they would both be more powerful as allies.
Plus, Phyllis is in desperate need of a love interest, and she and Cane have explosive chemistry and might be very fun to watch.
