‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may have some stars in his eyes when it comes to two of his employees. He loves their ambition and drive and wants them to be a big part of Newman. Will his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas), convince him to stay focused on family?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Family Drama
Newman Enterprises has been a family business. Victor always talks about the importance of family and having a legacy that gets passed on to his children and grandchildren. But it seems that the drama of his children may in fact be proving to be too much for Victor.
Adam Newman is the “black sheep” of the family. He has rebelled against his father and hates the way this father meddles in things. Adam feels that he started Newman Media and deserves to run it again.
Adam and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) don’t get along at all. Victoria runs her father’s company as the CEO of Newman Enterprises. While Victor does seem to be happy with the choices she makes and the way she runs the business, he does tire of the animosity between Adam and Victoria.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) tries his best to get along with Victoria and with Adam. It is difficult to do, but he makes his best effort. He follows the rules and does what his father tells him to do. Victor may appreciate this, but also doesn’t seem to be inspired by Nick. His son doesn’t have the drive or ambition that Victor admires.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Attention to His Staff
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is Victoria’s COO at Newman Enterprises. She gave him this job after making her brother Nick step out. Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), his second at Newman Media, took his place as CEO.
Both Audra and Nate have impressed Victor. He wants to invest in them and mentor them. They have done well for the company, and he appreciates that they will do anything to be successful. That will only be good for Newman’s bottom line.
When Nikki hears this, she tells Victor that he needs to rethink this. In her opinion, Nate and Audra really can’t be trusted and Nikki is as savvy as they come. Victor can benefit from his wife’s advice.
He won’t say who will be in charge of Newman Media, but Nikki definitely doesn’t think that Audra and Nate should get his support.
