The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that longtime enemies, Victor Newman (Eric Braden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), may soon team up to defeat Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane Has Devised A Massive Takeover Plot
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) recently learned that Cane isn’t just angling to reclaim Chancellor or align himself with the key players in Genoa City.
Cane’s true agenda is to make a major power play for all the companies owned by the most prominent families in Genoa City.

This takeover plot includes Newman Enterprises, Jabot, Chancellor, and even Winters, which is run by the love of his life, Lily Winters (Christell Khalil).
Poor Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) walked several tedious miles up the hill to Cane’s property to warn his father, Victor, about Cane’s secretly hiring Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) to buy up all the real estate in Genoa City.
Cane instructed Holden to purchase all the properties in the business district, as well as some residential properties. Cane even bought the Athletic Club for Pete’s sake. It looks like Cane’s goal is to take over the whole town.

Phyllis deduced that Cane’s master plan is to consolidate each company under one name. He essentially invited his guests to his private estate in France for the purpose of trapping them.
That way, Cane could secretly travel back and forth from France to Genoa City and make undercover deals without them knowing. Phyllis blabbed to Cane that they found out.
Phyllis also asked Cane about the pink elephant in the room, which neither he nor Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) had dared to mention.
“What if the most powerful families in Genoa City teamed up against him?” Cane scoffed at the idea. He believes he won’t fail.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Needs To Put Aside His Hatred Of The Abbotts
Adam gave Victor a heads-up. Without Adam, they may not have had an inkling as to what Cane was planning. At least not until they returned to Genoa City. It would be too late to get ahead of the game.
Armed with the information that his loyal son provided him, Victor may be persuaded to form an alliance that no one would ever expect: Newman Enterprises and Jabot. IE: The Newmans and the Abbotts.

It would be for the greater good if either Victor or Jack approached the other and proposed a truce. They could agree to disagree in the name of defeating their common enemy, Cane Ashby.
That said, Cane is one smart cookie. He’s a self-made billionaire and the first formidable opponent Victor has had in a long time.
It would be interesting if Victor came to the realization that his long-standing feud with Jack isn’t worth him losing Newman Enterprises to Cane.
Additionally, Victor would be wise to drop kick his disapproval of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to the curb and focus on protecting his company. And don’t get us started on the perpetual beef between Victor and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

It’s foolish to continue petty squabbles and ancient histories when there is a literal predator about to devour your precious cubs.
If Victor and Jack put their differences aside to figure out a way to beat Cane, the sky is the limit. After all, their families and loved ones’ livelihoods are at stake.
