‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has gone and done the unthinkable. He actually proposed to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and she said yes! This is huge news and they are sharing the news happily and proudly.
However, after hearing it for himself first-hand, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) did not look too thrilled. Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) was just as shocked and you could see her looking over at her husband concerned. While I don’t think he will immediately say anything about the news, in the back of his mind he is going to want to make sure this doesn’t go through.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) Try To Stop His Parent’s Wedding?
It’s a weird position, as at first, Kyle couldn’t be happier that he was able to form a connection with his mother he lost all those years ago and was able to forgive her what things she did in the past. However, getting married to his dad again in 2023 doesn’t seem like the news he wanted to hear.
We believe that later Kyle will be talking to Summer about the news and want to form some kind of a plan to stop the wedding. Perhaps Kyle could even get some sabotage tips from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he seems to know a thing or two about dirty work.
Jack and Diane are the only people who seem to want this to happen, and it’s going to be a strange moment in time if and when they start inviting people to their wedding (if they have one). We can only imagine how Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is going to react to the news! It may just be her breaking point!
