‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers disclose that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may soon split up, as Kyle apparently has no idea how to maintain a relationship.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Kyle Warned Holden To Stay Away From Claire
In the September 10th episode of Y&R, Kyle admitted this to his parents, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Kyle thinks he can control Claire by warning Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) to stay away from his girlfriend. He’s jealous because he sees that Claire has truly taken a shine to Holden.
Plus, with Holden, everything is like a new adventure for Claire. She had her first vesper with Holden, she got drunk for the first time with Holden, and now she’s taking risks and owning her independence.
While we all know that Kyle and Claire are deeply in love, Kyle is Claire’s first boyfriend. It’s only natural that she’d be curious about this handsome new man in her orbit.
Spoilers indicate that next week, Claire will be tempted when it comes to Holden. It has something to do with an invitation she receives from Holden.
We have to wonder what that’s all about. Plus, while Claire and Kyle have their moments, Kyle still lied to Claire about what really went down in France with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
He eventually told her the truth, but we all saw Kyle and Audra getting intimate in his train car. They both seemed into it.
Despite Kyle insisting that he was pretending, he still hooked up with someone he used to have pajama parties with on a regular basis.
Kyle tried to tell Claire that Holden is some big, bad player, but so far, he’s been nothing but supportive and respectful of Claire.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Holden Comforted Claire When Her Father Died
Holden was with Claire when she first found out that her father, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), had died, and Kyle was off in Nice, rubbing suntan lotion on Audra.
Audra made a deal with Victor that he would fund her cosmetics company, Vibrante, in exchange for her seducing Kyle away from Claire.
If that’s not offensive enough, Kyle ended up kissing Audra in order to expose Audra and Victor for their unscrupulous and disgusting alliance.
Kyle’s interactions with Audra may have been all for show, but he would have never told Claire about what happened in France if not for his parents’ guidance.
Kyle has been trying to make amends with Claire, but his dishonesty is something she can’t seem to shake.
We do see that Kyle loves Claire, but again, this is Claire’s first relationship. Plus, Claire has a very complicated past due to her abusive upbringing.
There have been way too many lies of omission on Kyle’s part. Claire also recently learned of Kyle’s deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braden).
In the other deal Kyle made with Victor, Kyle foolishly signed a contract with the Mustache that stated if he broke Claire’s heart, he would pay Victor five million dollars and leave Genoa City for good.
Kyle has made a lot of mistakes with Claire recently, and it wouldn’t surprise us one bit if she started to gravitate towards Holden.
In today’s episode of Y&R, Holden admitted to Claire that he has feelings for her. It will be thought-provoking to see how this triangle unfolds from here.
