‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers suggest that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) may be back in Genoa City for quite some time. While she returned for the lawsuit to defend Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) against her brother Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), she may not leave town so quickly.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Painful Situation
When Devon and Amanda were dating, she came in the apartment to find Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Devon in a compromising position together. That was the end for Amanda and Devon’s relationship.
She feels slighted, angry and humiliated. It has been difficult for her to heal. During the arbitration hearing between Devon and Lily, Amanda was fierce.
Devon feels especially hurt that Lily would hire Amanda, knowing about their difficult past. Abby and Amanda have crossed paths a few times since Amanda came to town, and it has been uncomfortable and awkward for both of them.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Staying Awhile?
At the gala, Amanda agrees to speak to Devon for a few minutes. He shares that he has dropped the lawsuit, and this surprises her. She saw how eager he was to win at any cost. She saw how emotional he was about all of it.
Devon expresses that he needed to get into a place where he could really listen to Lily. He needed to ask her forgiveness and then extend forgiveness to her.
Devon says that he has realized the importance of family. He tells her that he hasn’t forgiven himself for hurting her and doesn’t expect her to forgive him, but he is sorry.
When Devon says that she must be glad the lawsuit is over so she can get home to her mother, she says that she has family in Genoa City too. She seems to be more influenced by Devon’s apology and does not seem all that eager to leave.
