‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may step up and save Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in Las Vegas.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Still Desperately Wants Approval from His Family

Adam has repeatedly proven his loyalty to the Newman family. Remember him going to France and climbing all the way up the hill in Nice to Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) train car to warn Victor Newman (Eric Braden) about Cane’s plans for Genoa City?

We do. After years of fighting for his own redemption, Adam still desperately wants his family’s approval and would do anything to protect them.

In the March 10th episode of Y&R, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) shared information that could help the Newmans. Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) storyline will connect with Adam’s past through someone named Riza Thomas.

Nick is in no condition to take on Matt Clark all by himself. Adam knows where Riza, a character in Las Vegas, lives and wants to help Nick find Matt.

It’s the first lead the Newmans have discovered that could connect Matt with his fentanyl operation. Nick has been trying to resist Adam’s help.

He shared his concern for his brother with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Adam has worked too hard to leave his past behind and become a changed man.

Riza is an old friend of Adam’s, back when Adam lived as “Spider.” Apparently, Riza helped him cover up a murder, but he had killed someone to protect Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

Adam paid someone off to avoid prison time. This wasn’t Adam’s first kill, however, as he had once killed someone else to protect his mother, Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman).

Adam’s mother was a blind farm owner from Kansas, who was also the only woman who could ever seem to humanize Adam’s father, Victor Newman (Eric Braden). But I digress.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: History Could Repeat Itself If Adam Kills Matt to Save Nick

Although Adam hadn’t meant for the situation to turn deadly, he was still responsible for taking another person’s life.

It’s entirely possible that Adam could kill again to protect someone, this time, his brother, Nick. It would definitely secure his rightful position in the Newman family.

While Adam has made great strides in recent years, he still seems somewhat disconnected from his own family.

Plus, Nick’s addiction to pain pills seems to have taken hold of him. Nick was in a serious car accident caused by Matt Clark and had to have surgery on his leg. He’s been struggling with pain ever since.

Now, he’s popping pain pills like candy, but the only one who seems to notice is Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) girlfriend, Sienna.

Sienna shared her concerns with Noah and told him about her brother, who died from a drug overdose. She admitted to Noah that she sees the same signs in Nick that she saw in her brother when he had an addiction.

Meanwhile, Adam told Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) that he was going to Las Vegas to help Nick. She was worried about him revisiting his past as Spider, but Adam is insistent.

Since Nick is in no condition to face Matt alone, Nick should accept Adam’s help. It could mean the difference between life and death.
