Now, a dumb and desperate Kyle is headed to Los Angeles to put an end to Claire’s trip with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens). Has there ever been a bigger bonehead in the history of soaps?
We all know Kyle loves her, but this is a stalker move that is set to backfire on Kyle big time. We can’t imagine that Claire will be too pleased that Kyle can’t respect her wishes and give her the time and space she asked for.
Kyle is all set to book a flight to LA to win back his lady love. What exactly does Kyle think he’s going to do?
Does he think he’ll find Claire drinking vespers with Holden at a bar, toss her over his shoulder, and carry her away like a caveman?
Claire wants a fresh start. She spent her whole life with her evil aunt, Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk), who tried to control her. Now that she’s finally free to live her life, Kyle’s own controlling behavior is alarming.
Kyle practically forbade Claire from hanging out with Holden. Doesn’t he realize that his demands will only make her more drawn to his romantic competition?
Holden clearly cares for Claire and cares about what she thinks of him. We believe that is why he won’t tell her what went down with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in LA.
Kyle’s actions practically scream “desperate.” After Kyle made out with Audra in France, Claire told him she needed some space. Instead of giving that to her, he proposed marriage.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Kyle Pushed Claire Toward Holden And Out Of Town
Now that he pushed her away toward another man, his solution is to travel to LA to find her and ruin her journey of self-discovery.
Claire wants to have fun with Holden and take in all that the city has to offer. Kyle is altogether a major buzzkill for Claire right now.
Kyle’s stunning lack of self-awareness and overblown ego has literally driven Claire out of town. We have to wonder what he expects to happen when he interrupts her trip.
Kyle has no respect for Claire’s boundaries and is obviously threatened by Holden. It’s seriously ignorant of him to force her to abandon her plans with Holden in LA because of his wounded sense of pride.
Another item of annoyance about Kyle is that he’s constantly running to Mommy and Daddy to fix all his problems, especially when it comes to his love life.
Kyle is a grown a** man, and he acts like he’s sixteen. We hate to admit it, but Audra is 100 percent right about him.
He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and doesn’t understand when someone has to fight for their place in the world.
It seems that Holden gets Claire on a level that Kyle doesn’t. Claire is attracted to that. Kyle has learned nothing from his breakup with Claire, and he’s simply putting his own selfish needs ahead of hers.
