‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has offered to be the donor for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), but, why? Devon has been playing the “nice guy” shtick forever, but what are his reasons for doing so?
He’s spoken about it before, briefly, when he was able to get his fortune back and wanted to start sharing it with people, however, this isn’t money. This is something far greater than money and much more personal. When did Devon start caring about Abby and Chance like this?
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Why Does Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) Feel So Compelled To Help Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway)?
I still find it odd that he think about it last week, then act on it already. Sure, Abby will think it’s a good idea because it’s not a stranger and she knows Devon, but, what is his reasoning? Does he just want to do everything for everyone? Does he feel he owes something to Abby or Chance? How did he come to this decision so quickly?
He waltzed over to Abby’s and told her he was “stepping up”. Stepping up to what? More hilarious was Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) reaction to what he said he was offering to be the donor. This might be different, had Chance actually been here.
This entire storyline has ceased to be interesting to me (and a lot of viewers by the way) since Chance has left and feels like Abby’s trying to rush into something (which she is) and now Devon stepping into the frame is just convoluting it more!
