‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that everyone in Genoa City needs to get over themselves and leave Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) alone.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Audra Wasn’t Born Into a Legacy Family Like Claire, Kyle, or Lily
We’re watching characters who were blessed to be born into legacy families judge Audra for her ruthlessness and unwillingness to back down.
However, Audra moved up the top of the ladder without the name Newman, Abbott, or Winters. Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) have no idea what it took for Audra to fight tooth and nail to get somewhere in life.

Not to mention, she never had anything handed to her on a silver platter. Characters like Claire, Kyle, and Lily are hypocritical because they, too, have made horrific mistakes.
Claire almost killed her whole family. Lily was involved in a fatal car accident that killed Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan). She was foolish enough to blow through a stoplight and crashed into Hilary.
She went to prison for the crime and yet walks around town with her nose stuck up in the air at anyone whom she deems less than her.
A week or so ago, Lily felt it necessary to go off on Audra for no reason when she was sitting at the bar at GCAC, having a drink and minding her own business.
It was infuriating to see little Miss Perfect stroll up to Audra and take shots at her while she was down. Yes, what Audra did in France was wrong, but she wasn’t alone. Kyle fully participated in his make-out session with Audra, trying to “see how far she’d go.”
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Audra Isn’t a Hypocrite or Self-Righteous
He knew that Audra had made a deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braden). However, he still allowed it to go as far as it did. Now, Kyle and Claire are plotting to destroy Audra.
Weirdly, we’re supposed to be rooting for these three characters against Audra, but it’s honestly relentless. Claire supposedly broke up with Kyle to go on a journey of self-discovery.

Now she’s teamed up with her ex to dig up dirt on Audra and ruin her chances of getting a job. Why do they even care?
It’s truly petty and ridiculous that Claire doesn’t blame Kyle as much as Audra for what went down in France.
It also doesn’t matter that Audra once stole a wallet from some random nobody who is unimportant to the canvas when she and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) were in LA.
What exactly are Kyle and Claire doing with this? Again, Claire tried to poison all the Newmans back when she was “brainwashed” by her aunt Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk).
We don’t look at it from the same perspective as most of the audience. It seems more like a witch hunt to us. Claire and Kyle need to move on with their lives.
Audra isn’t a delicate heroine. She’s not supposed to be. But she’s not a hypocrite or self-righteous either. The Y&R writers are desperate to vilify this character into oblivion. While fans are buying into it, hook, line, and sinker, the narrative has become monotonous and irritating.
