‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that a new baby is long overdue in Genoa City. The last time a baby was introduced to the canvas was when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) daughter, Aria, was born in March 2023.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Audra Could Have A “Whose The Daddy” Storyline
There are so many potential new mothers and possible “Who’s the daddy” storylines the soap could capitalize on, we don’t know where to start.
First, we have to wonder if Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) may be the next woman to get pregnant on Y&R. With Audra, there are so many possibilities to unpack. She’s definitely the wildcard.
Currently, Audra is dating Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), but she’s scheming with Victor Newman (Eric Braden) to come between Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).
We can imagine a scenario in which Audra and Kyle are at Aristotle Dumas’s (Cane Ashby played by Billy Flynn) party at his private estate in France; they have too much to drink and get caught up in the heat of the moment and sneak upstairs to a bedroom.
Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) is another possibility. He’s still clearly carrying a torch for Audra. However, she’s denied her attraction to him since the moment he arrived in town.
Any one of these men could impregnate Audra, or we could easily have a Who’s the Daddy storyline featuring Kyle, Audra, and Nate.
Next on the list is Claire. She’s been like a second mother to the adorable little Harrison Newman-Abbott (Redding Munsell), and we could see her slide into the role of motherhood quite smoothly.
It would also create a situation in which Victor may need to accept Kyle as part of the family. We can only imagine how he’d feel if Claire were pregnant with an Abbott heir.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea or Sally Could Be The Next Mommy-To-Be
We also have Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who’s facing the possibility of losing her beloved Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).
We’ve had our suspicions that Cole is dying since he first started coughing. If Victoria became pregnant before he passed away, it would make their love story that much more poignant.
Victoria would be devastated, but she would always have Cole with her in her heart and through the child they made together. It would obviously be a later-in-life pregnancy for Victoria, but hey, it’s a soap!
Next potential candidate: Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). A baby would surely cement her relationship with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Adam and Chelsea could have a big, soapy wedding, and it would give Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) a little brother or sister, which would be exciting for him.
Even better would be if Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) became pregnant. She lost her little girl, Ava, when she was born, and Adam had to choose between Sally and the baby as the doctor could only save one of them. Of course, he picked Sally.
It would be wonderful to see Sally pregnant and happy, as she and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) would need to determine the next step in their relationship. A new bouncing baby would bring fresh life to Y & R.
