‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers document that breaking up is sometimes best. Some couples in Genoa City, Wisconsin, have a long history, while others just recently formed.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) fall into the longtime couple category. They were once married, poorly split, and recently remarried.
A much different couple is a term that accurately describes whatever Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) believe they were, are, or will be. Kyle talked himself into a marital corner, foolishly thinking he had to divorce his wife. Then, he used Audra, who willingly allowed that to happen.

Ashley and Tucker’s original relationship did not last long. They were married from 2011 to 2012. The split happened because she caught him cheating with Diane Jenkins Abbot (Susan Walters).
The only reason why Ashley agreed to get back together is because Tucker returned from his self-imposed exile. He went overboard when landing his helicopter in the Abbott family’s backyard during Kyle and Summer’s vow renewal ceremony.
Mealor and Lanier’s characters were okay at that point in the plot. But Summer was soon pressed into defending her mother. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faked death and was hidden from Kyle because Diane was framed as the culprit. That was it for Summer, and Kyle impulsively banished him from his life.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Tucker McCall Can Not Get It Right
There is no doubt in Ashley’s mind that Tucker believes he is suitable for her. But his self-centered view of reality has long been his flaw.
His connection with Audra is problematic. She is not simply a business associate and someone he mentored. No, Tucker has a personal relationship with her and sees Audra as an alternative to Ashley.
Walters’ character is mutually disliked, but Ashley realizes that Diane is loyal to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). As unlikely as it seems, Diane has proven suitable for him. Meanwhile, Tucker injected chaos into Ashley’s life again, even though she had her defenses up.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Audra Charles Is Bad News
There is no shame projected when Audra pronounces the direct nature of her connection with Kyle. She continues to tell him that they see the world in similar ways.
Summer’s husband recently told Audra that they were done. However, Kyle remains vulnerable to the considerable appeal that Zuleyka’s character possesses.
Like Ashley with Tucker, Kyle believes he can outwit Audra. But the risk both Abbotts are taking goes beyond games. Their hearts remain broken, and they need time to heal on Y&R.
