The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggests that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) wants to run the show. She doesn’t want her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to be in charge of what comes next. What is does Summer have in mind?
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sticky Situation
Summer realizes that her mother needs a lot of help. Phyllis is on the run. She faked her own death to try to get revenge on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) helped her with this.
When she balked at being separated from her kids and refused to leave town, Stark got angry. He decided the ‘dead’ lady need to really bed dead.
Stark attacked Phyllis in the hotel room and they fought in the bathroom. While Stark was strong, he was no match for the desperate mother. She killed him with the pair of scissors with which he attacked her.
Instead of calling the GCPD and claiming that she was at Stark’s mercy all along, she cleans up and tries to dump the body.
This Y&R mother has made many mistakes with her children, but Phyllis loves them dearly. She has made lots of mistakes in her relationship with them and has hurt them a lot.
However, they know how close they came to losing her because they thought she was dead. They don’t want to be separated from her and want to help her get out of her sticky situation.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Helping Her Mother
The Young and the Restless daughter cares about her mother and believes that she didn’t always treat Phyllis well. For her part,
Phyllis actually seems to honestly be contrite about the pain and trouble she has brought to her children. In the past, Phyllis was never seeing that her choices were painful to her kids. Now she finally does.
Phyllis decides that she really wants to see her son, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). So far, she has only appeared to Summer. Daniel knows she is alive but hasn’t seen her for himself. She really misses her son and wants to see him, but Summer says she can’t.
Summer knows that as soon a Daniel sees Phyllis for himself, he is going to get ahold of the authorities. He sees it as the right thing to do, because it will free Diane.
He doesn’t believe it is right to put them through this. Summer disagrees, believing that they need time to figure out how to help Phyllis stay out of jail.
