‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that things went incredibly haywire between Tucker McCall and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) very quickly. Was Ashley really in love with Tucker as she said, or was it all a ploy to try to get back at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Marriage of Convenience?
It hasn’t been very clear from the get-go how sincere Tucker and Ashley have been with each other. After all, Ashley was extremely hurt by Tucker in the past. She didn’t really want to have anything to do with him again. But he pursued her and said he loved her.
He said he would do anything to prove his love to her. He sold his company and he worked to rebuild his relationship with his son, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Devon is dating Ashley’s daughter, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Ashley has been so focused on her hatred for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). She believes that Diane is going to break her brother’s heart again. She is concerned for Jack, and she also strongly believes that Diane is going to ruin Jabot, the family’s company. She was focused on working with Tucker to help get Diane out of the way.
But then Diane saved Ashley’s life. Ashley was choking on a grape and could not breathe. Diane quickly stepped in and saved her with the Heimlich maneuver.
Ashley also was able to talk through things with Jack and they tried to mend their relationship. On the cusp of all of this emotion, Ashley decides to jet off to Paris with Tucker for their honeymoon and to get away for a bit.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Quickly Unraveled
Suddenly Tucker is back in Genoa City. He is back alone without Ashley, and he is angry. No one can get him to explain what has happened. He tells Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) that he is going to need a lawyer. He also tells Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) that things came apart because of Jack.
No one can reach Ashley. Both Jack and Abby tried to reach her, and they just got voice mail. Has Tucker done something terrible to Ashley? Did Ashley admit she never loved him and was just using him, and he flipped out? Where is Ashley? What do you think?
