‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to set the stage for a new week and we have plenty of fun weekly spoilery goodies to go around.
Few things ever go as planned in soap operas, and it looks like things are going to get interesting as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s plan is going to hit a rough patch and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s love life will hit the predictable skids as a love triangle will be set up.
We’ve got the popcorn, so let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Week 23-27: The jig is up!
Whelp, it was bound to happen at some point and it looks like Victor’s children are going to learn he’s been playing them all for fools.
A furious Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will share the news with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and she’ll be as horrified as anyone should be, but this could also be the moment of reckoning for Victor.
‘Young and the Restless’ suspect Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be the one to finally break and betray Victor by telling Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and she will then inform Nick.
While this is the perfect opportunity and reason for them to sever all ties with Victor to teach him a lesson, we think it’s more likely they’ll remain quiet and let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) hang himself.
We think Adam’s legitimately trying to do the right thing by Victor, but he’ll outmaneuver himself and look like the bad guy and Victor will think he’s still untrustworthy.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Week 23-27: And things get complicated
This storyline is one of the more predictable ones we’ve seen as it’s been hinted at a couple of times by Phyllis asking Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) if things would change when Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) reenters the picture.
So, with Cricket coming back, Danny will be a good friend and talk to her and ask how her trip went and how her marriage is doing.
She’ll break down, giving us the wink wink, nudge nudge that things between her and Paul Willaims (Doug Davidson) are basically over.
Danny will be there to comfort her and we expect things to go from there.
We’re sure this is supposed to make us feel sympathy for Phyllis in some way as she’s going to hit another hurdle in rebuilding her life, but it already feels shallow and we’re ready to move on.
Though we have to admit it’ll be fun seeing Cricket and Danny together again, even if it’s just here and there to torment Phyllis.
Will Victor’s children finally rise up against him and his games? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
