‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Wednesday, May 13 will be an interesting one as we’ll get plenty of unrepressed anger and bad decisions.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be worried about Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn)’s surgery and hope it all goes well.
Devon Winters (Bryton James) won’t be able to keep from sharing his anti-Cane views.
Especially how he should suffer, and it’ll segue into how he thinks Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) needs to suffer as well.
It doesn’t help his son wants to see Mariah to help her heal. He thinks something’s wrong with his son when he’s the one unable to cope.
Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will work with Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) to make his murder of Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) look like self-defense.
Everyone will be against this idea, and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will go to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Adam thinks Nick is still using and he’ll want to do something.
They’ll work to come up with a way to remove Nick from the equation. We have a feeling the Newman security team won’t be helping Nick like he thinks they will.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, May 13: Devon can’t let it go
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised Devon can’t let go of his anger. He’s been extremely opinionated for the last few years at least.
He happily judged everyone in Lily’s life and tried to control her, and it’s honestly a miracle he and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) made up.
Devon is convinced Cane is running a scam to pull Lily back into his web. She’ll focus on the positives and suggest he talk with Mariah.
She also reminds him that Mariah has a huge heart and is suffering an illness. Nate will get him to admit he’ll look into his anger, but we don’t see that happening.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, May 13: Nick’s too dangerous
Nick is trying to hide his addiction, but Adam isn’t fooled. Add to that his intent to end Matt himself and make it look like self defense with a detective’s help and he’s destined to fall hard.
So, Adam and Victor will move to stop that from happening. At least, we think they will. Adam wants to remove him from this situation and seek help and Victor will agree.
But how will they do it?
Since Nick is putting his plan into place with Burrow, we think the detective will work to stop him. Add in the Newman security team, and we don’t think Nick will leave the house.
If he doesn’t they’ll detain him enroute and he’ll lash out at everyone for stopping him.
Victor will see to it he gets the treatment he needs. Hopefully, he won’t lock him in a room alone like he planned to do with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Is Devon going to get help or become someone no one will recognize as the new bad guy in town? Let us know in the comments below.
