‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re set to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies for Wednesday, May 1 to share.
This looks like it’s going to be an interesting character building episode as Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will hit a couple of potholes and Devon Winters (Bryton James) will start exposing his weaknesses.
We’re set for some fun and games to begin, so let’s grab some popcorn and settle in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, May 1: Taking charge
Well, it was a good effort by Belle to win over Dr. Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins), but when she can’t remember how they met, everyone’s going to know something’s wrong, including the other alters.
As a result, Mrs. Abbott will break free and bench Belle as she’ll take over and most likely restart her plan to kill Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
With the Abbotts in the know, it’ll be interesting to see what they decide to do about her.
They know she needs help, but will Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) be able to bring himself to have her committed?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Wednesday, May 1: Devon outs himself
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised to see Devon start to out himself as making everything personal and turning on anyone that disagrees with him, but we expected it to be a gradual reveal.
Apparently, all he needed was Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to join the company to push him over the edge, and his controlling nature won’t allow Billy to coexist in his universe.
What’s not going to help him is he’ll try to convince Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to join him, and when Nate shows resistance and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) arrive, things will get interesting.
We expect they’ll try go make things work and smooth it over with Devon, but he won’t be having it.
A few weeks back, Nate and Chance agreed they may have to be the adults in the equation at Chancellor-Winters, and it looks like they’re going to get their chance.
Especially after they stand their ground to do be loyal to the company and not any one person.
What’s really cool from a character point of view about this is Billy hasn’t had to do a thing except stand his ground when challenged. Devon’s on the verge of costing himself his own company and it’s all his fault.
Will Devon realize what he’s doing before it’s too late? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
