‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.

The episode for Wednesday, January 8 is another character building one as we’re going to get some movement in a couple of storylines.

Damian King (Nathan Owens) will meet Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about his cold call for a job offer. He’ll question why a stellar company like Winters would be interested in him.

After all, he’s had five jobs in the last year, and he’ll ask Nate why he’s really there.

Meanwhile in Genoa City, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) try to advise Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to move on from his revenge.

Chelsea will even try to get him to see things from Jill Abbott (Jess Walton)’s point of view. Billy’s too hurt at being embarrassed by her to care, we’re sure things will get more interesting.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Wednesday, January 8: Damian doesn’t buy into Nate’s lie

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers hoped Nate’s offer would be a real job offer. Nothing is worse than starting out with a lie, but Devon Winters (Bryton James) will say it’s a lie.

Mainly to allay Lily and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway)’s concerns over Damian’s character and lack of experience.

Devon won’t approve of a hire unless they all agree, and that will leave Nate in an awkward position.

Damian isn’t dumb, and he’ll know there’s something more going on and will ask Nate about it.

Since the job offer was meant to open the door, this will be Nate’s chance. How he’ll manage and if Damian will listen will be interesting to see play out.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Wednesday, January 8: Billy isn’t having it

Well, once again Billy is on his own. We get what he means, but it’s not the best idea to ignore everyone’s advice.

But in Chelsea’s case, openly siding with Jill after she embarrassed him and handed Victor a win, it’s not going to help.

It’s unclear if Billy was making mistakes since that claim came from Lily and she was trying to oust him. Jill’s issue was the company split despite it being best for everyone.

And Billy paid the price for her to have peace and lack of faith in him. She didn’t want to fight Victor, and Billy paid the price for it.

He has every right to be upset, but he’s cutting everyone out that’s hinting that he’s clueless. That will come back to bite him at some point.

Will Nate be able to bring Damian into the fold? Let us know in the comments below.
