‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The episode on Tuesday, January 7 looks like it’s going to be an interesting character development one with some nudging in storylines.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 7: Mariah Threatens Ian; Sharon’s Car in Found in the River

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will cross paths with Ian Ward (Ray Wise).

While Ian tries to convince her he’s changed. Mariah will look to protect her family. In doing so, she’ll threaten to kill Ian if he comes near Tessa again.

For her sake, we hope he wasn’t recording their conversation.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case)’s family will be stressing about her going missing. Things will be ramped up when her car is pulled from the river where Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) was found.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Tuesday, January 7: Mariah stands her ground

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have been curious how everyone will react toward Ian.

Sure, he’s a man of the cloth and was released, but no one that knows him thinks he changed.

Mariah knows first hand what he’s capable of and won’t buy into his attempt to make amends.

She’ll rip into him and promise to kill him if he comes around her family again. There’s plenty of potential for this, especially if he recorded her threatening him.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Tuesday, January 7: Sharon’s car is found

In what’s quickly de-evolved into a storyline few care about, Sharon’s car was found. As Ian wished, it was found where Sharon disposed of Heather’s body.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Faith Newman will be stressing out and not sleeping since Sharon went missing.

They contacted the police and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s people haven’t found her.

So Nick and Faith will comfort each other as they wait. Faith will nearly spinning out after what she’s been, but Nick will balance her.

While we’re supposed to feel for them, Nick is why this happen. He didn’t help Sharon when she was hallucinating, and he wasn’t anywhere around her when she was taken.

So he’s the perfect one to be the hero to redeem himself.

Of course, when they find out Sharon’s car was found and there’s no hint of her, there will be a meltdown.

It’s going to get a lot rougher on them before it’s over, but we expect things will quickly go their way.

Did Mariah play into Ian’s hands? Let us know in the comments below.
