‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may have just made a terrible move on behalf of Newman Enterprises and her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), may not be too happy about that.
Not only did she push her brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) aside, but she promoted Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) into the COO role.
While on the surface this may not seem like a huge deal, for Victoria, it could be devastating. She has not had the best men in her life over the years and their intentions have always been sinister. Just look what Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) did while trying to undermine her and take the company for himself.

Now with Nate coming into more power, it could spell trouble for Victoria as we all know what he is capable of and how he could throw her under the bus at any moment.
Could Victor be someone who could see this happening and will be make the executive decision to make sure that this doesn’t go any further?
It seems like this has been a longtime coming and honestly, Victoria could use this in her life. For too long she’s been a power-hungry know-it-all and even after being worked over several times still believes that she is in control when in actuality, she doesn’t really know what she is doing.
Victor needs to see the state of his company and do something about it. He meddles with his children’s lives every other day about small things, why should this go over his head and not do anything about it? It doesn’t make much sense. Something bad is going to happen to Victoria, we have a feeling.
