‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that right now there is a lot of confusion as to who will be taking over a very large and important role at Newman Media.

While Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wants to have her latest boy toy, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) sit in that seat, her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has made it clear that he has no intentions of letting that happen.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has made it perfectly clear that he has no intentions of going back to that kind of a role in the company and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) isn’t in question for that either.

This leaves Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) who Victor has tried to give responsibility to before, but always takes it back, and Victor himself.

This has us wondering if there will be a moment where Victor steps out of retirement and returns to the seat himself. After all, if Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) had her way, Adam would never be close to the company or Victor again. If Victor were to bring him in yet one more time, Nikki would have a heyday with the news.

This could make for an interesting opportunity to have the heir once again return to his old stomping grounds and make one last run with him in charge of his company while seeking a valid person to pass it onto.

At this point, it’s questionable whether he would want Victoria to carry on the torch with the way she has been running the company and giving everything to her crush of the week.

I would say she’s not stable enough for the kind of power, but, on the hand, is Victor really stable enough? It’s a strange company dynamic and honestly, maybe Victor should sell it to someone instead of passing it on!

What do you think? Would Victor ever consider passing on the company to a stranger if his children aren’t fit to take control? Let us know in the comments below.
