‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that as Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) drama reappears, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is overcome with concern for Claire Grace (Hayley Erin).
Victoria was not amused by Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) proposal that Claire send a message to Jordan; she made it plain that she would not tolerate any setback for her daughter. Victor refuses to back down from his determination to put Nikki above Claire in spite of Victoria’s worries.
This raises questions about Victor’s potential loyalties when Claire’s release is brought up. But Victoria might be impressed by Claire’s fortitude in dealing with Jordan’s trauma, which could hasten her recuperation.
It is anticipated that the plot around Claire’s imprisonment will be resolved as the novel moves further. Victoria enthusiastically gives her support, knowing that Claire’s physicians will probably suggest her discharge shortly and that she plans to take Claire into her house.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) Pushes To KEEP Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) LOCKED Up?
Victor’s intervention, though, poses a threat to the peace within the family. Even though he might accept Claire’s position within the family, it is problematic to accommodate her at the expense of other family members.
Victor’s need to be in charge might show up as him pressuring employees to keep Claire in detention longer than necessary, which would lead to tension with Victoria.
Victor may aggravate this conflict of wills by defending his acts as a precaution to ensure Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) mental well-being.
Victor’s determination that Claire remain confined, regardless of medical advice, might cause Victoria to object, escalating friction in the Newman household and putting Claire at the heart of their conflict.
