‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is just keeping everyone guessing. Is he really losing his marbles after all?
Or is he working on developing the most elaborate hoax ever? Is he really getting everyone to think that his mind is going or is it really going? It is hard to tell which is the case.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: On Again, Off Again
Victor has been misspeaking for a while now and his family is getting concerned. He doesn’t remember things he just said, he is misspeaking and calling people by the wrong name, and he doesn’t remember events that have transpired. When his wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) confronted him about this, he told her it was all part of his plan.
He is more paranoid, concerned that his children are trying to take over Newman Enterprises. Victor obviously really believes that they are up to something, and he wants to try to catch them in the act.
He did share this with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who confronted him when a drawing was found in Victor’s desk. Victor told him that this was all part of his plan to see which child would not be loyal to him.
Nick heads immediately to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to tell him that this was all part of their father’s elaborate plan to test his children. Victoria is really upset by this and doesn’t understand how her father does not trust her.
She was CEO of Newman Enterprises and ran the company just as her father would have. He never had a reason not to trust her before. When Victoria and Nick confront Victor, he denies it all. He says he does not know what Nick is talking about.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Real Situation?
Something is up with Victor Newman. He is scared. He is either scared as his own mind starts to fail or he fears his children. Things are just not clear about which is the case.
He has asked Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to secure some confidential medical testing for him. Victor ordered Nate not to tell anyone about it, even Victoria. This is a test of Nate’s loyalty.
