‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braden) will kidnap Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) next week, and we’re going to take a wild guess as to what his endgame is.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Wants to Regain Control of Chancellor for Nikki
We suspect that Victor aims to reclaim Chancellor for his beloved wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). It’s also possible that Victor could inadvertently destroy Jack and Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) marriage.
The outcome could turn out to be devastating for Jack if he reluctantly agrees to set this up with Victor for the purpose of getting back Chancellor for Nikki.
After all, Diane warned Jack that she wasn’t comfortable with the way that Nikki used her friendship with Jack to take advantage.
Nikki wants to regain control of Chancellor so that she can carry on Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) legacy. Victor acquired the company from Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
When Jack is “kidnapped” by Victor, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will inform Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Diane that Victor told him that if he doesn’t give him back Chancellor by the end of that day, they will never see Jack again.
If it goes the way we think, Diane will be furious with her husband for going along with Victor’s scheme, especially since she’ll obviously be worried about his safety.
Jack may agree to this fake abduction for Nikki’s sake, which will enrage Diane to no end. Diane and Nikki have been nemesis forever.
There is no way that Diane will approve of Jack’s actions. She may not even forgive him for this when she discovers the truth. Not to mention, Diane and also despises the extremes Jack has gone to in the past to save Nikki.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Jack Has Gone to Extremes for Nikki In the Past
Jack risked his life to scare Nikki sober. Jack, who was once seriously addicted to pain pills, relapsed so that he would be able to convince Nikki to go to rehab.
We’re also unsure whether this plan will even work, since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) knows Victor is likely bluffing.
It’s the same way he’s bluffing about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and her kids with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Now, Cane’s ultimate weakness is Lily.
However, when it comes to Billy and Phyllis, they may not so easily be swayed. The pair is hellbent on getting revenge on Victor and keeping control of Newman Enterprises.
Billy also won’t want to surrender Chancellor so easily. We might believe that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may be able to talk some sense into him to a point.
Yet, when Chancellor is involved, Billy seems to forget about anyone or anything else important to him. He’s been obsessed with reclaiming Chancellor for years.
Victor isn’t going to take no for an answer. Diane may flip her lid, threaten to divorce Jack, or even give him an ultimatum: his friendship with Nikki or their marriage. Kyle could also blow up at Jack if he betrays Diane and Billy because of his bond with Nikki.
We have to wonder what tricks Victor may have up his sleeve in this situation. The whole thing could end up making an even bigger mess than the one that already exists.
