The Young and the Restless spoilers relate that while Lola knew that she and Kyle needed to take a little break from their relationship, she certainly didn’t expect for this to happen. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that not only did the beautiful brunette have her heart broken in two when she unexpectedly opened the door to the Abbott cabin just to see Kyle and Summer all over each other, but she was also the victim of a vicious hit and run attack and she’s now unconscious at the hospital. Here’s what you need to know.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: First Lola’s Heart Breaks In Two and Now She Gets Attacked

Even though they had a nasty public break up, both Kyle and Lola just can’t stop thinking about each other. Before pulling the plug on their relationship, Lola wasn’t sure if Kyle was willing to give her the time she needed before taking the next step in their relationship. Kyle, meanwhile, was feeling frustrated that Lola kept on putting her work obligations as a priority over him. He told her that if you truly care for someone, you can manage to find the time for them.

Wanting to give things another chance, Kyle invited Lola to the Abbott cabin in hopes that they could repair their relationship in time for Valentine’s Day. Lola declined the invitation, saying that it was too close to the grand opening for her new restaurant.  After speaking with both Jack and Mariah, Lola changed her mind and decided to give Kyle a second chance.

But when she showed up to the Abbott cabin, Lola was in be in for a big surprise. That’s because Kyle was not alone. After seeing Kyle and Summer together amaking out, Lola lashed out at him. She sais that she always knew he just wanted one thing from her. Clearly, Summer was enjoying every moment of this while she sat back and witnesses Lola get her heart break into two.

But everything changed when Kyle found Lola left for dead by her assailant. He found her just in the nick of time as she was about to drown. He called 911 and rushed her to the hospital. In a weird twist of fate, maybe this tragic occurrence is just what the couple needed to help bring them closer to each other. We know Summer is a trouble maker and she’s just trying to stir the pot with Kyle, so far his own sake Lola is his better choice right now. Even his father, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) agrees.

Once Lola wakes up from her coma, she will see her knight in shining armor exasperatedly waiting for her to show a sign of life again – she will fall in love with Kyle like never before, and this moment will create that bond that will make up for the lost trust.
