‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Tuesday, September 9 looks like it’s going to be an interesting character building one as we’re going to get a reveal and subterfuge.
Sounds like a Tuesday in Genoa City.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, September 9: Maria Admits She Almost Killed a Man to Tessa; Nick Triggers Phyllis
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will grow closer.
They’ll decide to sing their song at Danny Romalotti (Michael Damain) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell)’s wedding.
Their moment will be interrupted when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) interrupts and admits to trying to kill a man to Tessa.
At least she didn’t kill him like we thought. We’re guessing she ran before he could have her arrested, and she’s going to head to a clinic for help and will be back whenever.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will grill Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) on what Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) told her.
He’ll tell her Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s idea of Cane’s AI and Nick will point out it’s illegal. He’ll neglect to mention Victor wants it to use, but a good soldier never squeals.
Phyllis will be furious and call Cane, cursing him out for getting her involved in this. Like she didn’t know.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, September 9: Mariah gives Tessa her opening
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are happy to hear Mariah didn’t actually kill the older man like we thought.
But it opens the door for more questions as she’ll leave it at that and she’ll tell Tessa she’s going to a clinic. She’ll be back when she’s back, so we expect it to be awhile.
Tessa will want to help her, but now she’ll have an open window to let her heart drift to Daniel.
It’ll suck for Mariah, but at this point we’re not sure what’s in the cards for her character, so she could be getting written off the show for a time.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday, September 9: Phyllis’s victimhood
Well, it looks like Phyllis will buy everything Nick says as fact, and why shouldn’t she? Nick believes Victor no matter what, so he believes it.
He’ll have no qualms playing the illegal card with Phyllis to scare her from Cane and to help save Genoa City. Save Victor, he really means.
So after Phyllis thanks Nick, she’ll call Cane to rip into him about dragging her into this.
She’ll conveniently forget he had her reading up on AI technology, and she was the one to pursue him.
Not that it matters since it’s always someone else’s fault in her mind, so we expect her to rant on this for awhile.
