‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is arranging his plan of revenge against Jabot. His first line of attack will be Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Anticipating an Attack
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) are expecting that Tucker is going to make a move against Jabot. They know that they need to anticipate his moves.
Tucker and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) got married. She was going to join him in a new endeavor, leaving Jabot behind. She was fighting incessantly with Jack about his decision to marry Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and bring her on at Jabot.
When Diane saved Ashley from choking, Ashley softened a bit. She and Jack were able to have a heart to heart and reconcile. When she reached Paris with Tucker for their “honeymoon”, she realized that she did not want to leave Jabot and start a new company.
Tucker didn’t handle this news well. Instead of being willing to support his new bride in her decision to stay with the family company, he exploded. Tucker decided not to stay in Paris but headed back to Genoa City. When he arrived, everyone was upset to see him alone.
When Jack heard from Ashley, he recognized that Tucker is back in town for one thing, and that is to get his hands on Jabot. How can they stop him?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Battle Between Tucker and Billy
It appears that Tucker believes that Billy is the weak link at Jabot. Perhaps he is. Tucker has hired Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to do some tech savvy moves to find out information on Billy’s financials.
She is reticent to do this, but she owes a lot of money for the insurance settlement that was paid out upon her “death”.
Billy also believes that Jack isn’t taking strong enough action against Tucker. He goes against Jack’s wishes and talks to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) about what his father might be up to.
Jack specifically did not wish to involve Devon and told Billy that. Billy ignored his brother and met with him anyway. Jack has seen this and that is yet another reason he feels Billy may not be trustworthy.
