‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that things aren’t as hunky-dory as the Newman brothers would make others believe. While they have contended that they can navigate their mutual affection for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), it appears it may become more difficult.

When Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) started having some interest in Sally, she had one more fling with his brother Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). She ended up becoming pregnant and then felt a great deal of anxiety, realizing that the baby could be the child of either brother.
When Sally confessed to Nick that it could be Adam’s, he did not freak out. He said that he wanted to stay in a relationship with her. He was very disappointed to find out it was Adam’s, but he still said he is committed to the relationship.
Sally said the baby being Adam’s changes nothing for her. She doesn’t want to go back to Adam but wants to stay with Nick.
Adam was surprised to hear about the pregnancy. He has handled it well, being agreeable and amenable to the situation and understanding that Sally and Nick are still a thing.
Adam hasn’t intruded upon their relationship but has admitted to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) that he still has feelings for her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Tension Builds
Nick wasn’t very pleased when he found out that Sally invited Adam to go to this doctor’s appointment. It is the appointment when they’ll find out the sex of the baby.
She felt that he should be present, but Nick is not very happy about it. He agrees that it is okay and he still wants to go himself, but he’s not thrilled.
After Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) blows up at Nick Newman about the situation, Nick becomes even testier. He also feels more distrustful of his brother.
Sally and Adam are waiting for him in order to head to the appointment and when he arrives, he cuts off Adam. Nick abruptly says that Adam can meet them at the doctor’s office instead of inviting him to join them.
This is just the beginning of what will be a long journey for Sally and Adam as parents. If Nick can’t handle this uncomfortable tension, maybe he should think of walking away. It seems like it is only going to get worse, particularly since Adam has admitted he really does have feelings for Sally.
