‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that finally, the truth of Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) survival is coming to light, and Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) path to acquittal for a crime she did not commit is progressing. Phyllis is solely to blame for this catastrophe, and by including her kids, she just made matters worse.
She unfairly burdened Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) by telling them she was still alive, destroying their conscience, and making her daughter Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) keep such a secret, maybe ruining their marriage!
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) WON’T Be Able To Forgive Her Brother Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei)
While Daniel battled more and felt like he had to tell someone, Summer continued to keep this a secret, even from her own spouse. He gradually accepted what had happened and went to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to inform him that his mother was still alive and that he could no longer pretend otherwise.
Now that everyone seems to be on Phyllis’ trail, it won’t take long for her to be discovered and perhaps wind up in jail for lying, staging her own death, and murdering Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). We have to wonder how Summer will respond to her brother spilling the beans when this is all over (hopefully soon).
It will be fascinating to watch how Summer responds and if she will ever forgive Daniel for giving up their mother after he practically exposed his own mother. This might result in a significant long-term schism between the two of them and become a part of Y&R legend for many years to come.
Summer did not have a conscious, although Daniel did. She may have fought with it, but she was still silent since she was aware of what was right and wrong. Summer and Daniel could not see each other again for a while if this is the end of their romance.
