‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is in a dangerous place right now. She is really concerned about how to get her mother, Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) back to Genoa City.
She wants her to get back free and clear and is considering some craziness to make that happen and that will only make things worse.

Phyllis faked her death with the help of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). They did this to they could frame Y&R’s Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). When Phyllis realized how terrible it would be to be separated from her children, she thought about going to let everyone know she was alive.
Stark said that was impossible, because he was not going to return to jail. He attacked her to kill her (for real) and she defended herself. She ended up killing him.
Instead of calling the police and trying to claim that it was all Jeremy’s idea and he forced her to do what she did, she tried to dump the body. Now the police have discovered that Phyllis is alive, although they don’t know where she is. They found Stark’s body, so Phyllis is really on the hot seat. There is an APB out on her.
Whenever Phyllis is caught, she will be facing charges for the framing Diane and for killing Stark. That is why she is hiding and has not made her presence known to too many people. She doesn’t want to go to jail.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Summer’s Crazy Idea
Summer is getting desperate. She really wants to get her mother back to town. She has been talking to her brother Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). She really thinks that they should look for the EMT that helped Stark get two bodies from the morgue.
Summer thinks that they should pay him to say that he saw Phyllis and Stark fighting, and Phyllis defending herself. Daniel points out that this is a terrible idea. The man is a criminal. It is not wise to pay him to do this, because he will forever more hound them for money.
Daniel points out that this is illegal. They can’t pay someone to lie for them to get their mother off the hook. Summer is so concerned about her mother that she is willing to do something so crazy. Will anyone be able to stop her and help her see reason? What do you think?
