‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) may have to get out of the Abbott mansion. She may not be welcomed in the house any longer.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Moving In
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) fell in love with Diane again and forgave her for all of her past wrongs. He invited her to move in with him to the Abbott mansion. His sister, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) wasn’t pleased, and has freely expressed this.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and his wife Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) were a little uncertain about it. Summer was nervous about Diane because of what she heard from her mother and Kyle was worried about his parents getting back together.
But Jack knew what he wanted and has kept telling everyone it will be okay. Then Jack asked Diane to marry him. They kept it under wraps for a while, but then announced it to everyone at the Genoa City Gala.
Upon their announcement, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) erupted in a tirade, telling everyone that Diane is bad news. While she was in the middle of this, she collapsed. She was taken away in an ambulance which supposedly crashed and burned, killing Phyllis.

Summer is devasted by the news of her mother’s death. She also can’t forget that she, Kyle and Jack, all saw Diane threatening her mother earlier in the evening. Summer challenges Diane, saying her mother must have been telling the truth about Diane.
She also wants Diane to come clean about how she really feels about Phyllis. Summer believes that Diane hates her mother and wanted to destroy her. While there is no information about why Phyllis collapsed, Summer has no problem pointing the finger at Diane.
After she explodes at Diane, leaving her in tears, she almost collapses with the sheer grief of being without her mother. Jack assures Summer that they will do whatever they can to help her. That probably means that Diane needs to leave. Summer won’t be comfortable with her in the house.
