‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is showing some compassion for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Things haven’t been easy for the two of them, but with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Sally seems to be allowing herself to have a connection to Adam.

Sally and Adam were a couple for a while. He definitely still loves her, but she has moved on. She is now in a relationship with his brother Nick, which has been challenging.
When Nick and Sally were newly dating, she found out she was pregnant. It turns out that she was pregnant with Adam’s daughter, but she said this did not change anything in her feelings about Adam. She loves Nick.
Nick was helping his ex-wife, Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case) and his daughter Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) to deal with an evil villain. While he was helping them, Sally started having pain.
Adam took her to the ER where the situation worsened. Adam made the decision that they should prioritize Sally’s health and safety, even if it meant losing the baby.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: A New Way to Relate
Sally was really angry at Adam for a long time. She blamed him for the death of their baby. Then she began to soften, when she realized that he was also grieving their daughter. When that realization sunk in, she started to treat him kindly.
Nick is out of town and Sally ends up visiting Adam’s new apartment. He has to leave to talk to his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) but asks her if she would stay. He suggests that she order take-out food. While he is gone, she unpacks some of his boxes and finds some pictures he saved of the two of them together.
When he returns from a tumultuous meeting with his father, she is there and that surprises him. She is encouraging and calming for him. He hasn’t gotten over his feelings for her, but he definitely keeps it all in check and she sees again what she saw in him before.
