‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is entering dangerous territory. As far as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is concerned, she may be playing with fire. Is she going to get burned AGAIN?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Off But Maybe On Again?
Sally and Adam used to be a couple. Adam is just a difficult person though, with lots of baggage. The volatility got to be too much, and Sally called it quits.
Sally started a new relationship with Adam’s brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). When they were first becoming an item, Sally slept with Adam one more time and she got pregnant. She struggled, not knowing if she was carrying Adam’s baby or Nick’s.
It turned out to be Adam’s baby, but she told him that this did not change anything between them. She was still in a committed relationship with Nick. She lost the baby and blamed Adam for his role in that event. But she began to understand that he was grieving too.
The problem is that Adam is still interested in her. He believes that they belong together and even her dating his brother is not going to change that fact. While Nick was out of town, Adam kissed Sally.
On his return, Nick has come to see that Sally is conflicted about her feelings. He is tired of being in this position and is stepping away because she doesn’t know who or what she wants.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Interesting Response
Sally was drawn to Adam at the time of the kiss because he promised that he had turned over a new leaf. She was attracted to this new version of Adam. But he admitted that the new Adam was a farce. He was still trying to get revenge on his family. He admits that he lied to Sally too.
Adam says that he thinks he pushed his father “over the edge” mentally and really regrets that. He is now serious about wanting to do the right thing. Strangely, Sally accepts this from Adam.
He just admits that he lied about turning over a new leaf but now he really means it? And this is after continued broken promises?
Why is Sally giving him another chance at being an influence in her life? How long will it take for her to realize that “Sally and Adam” are not a good combination?
