‘The Young And The Restless (Y&R)’ spoilers show that Alyvia Alyn Lind has continued her acting journey outside of the show, so someone was going to have to step in and take over the role of Faith Newman. We’ve known for a few weeks that a young actress named Reylynn Caster would be taking over the role, but today we got our first look at the new Faith!

Caster did a fine job, and her voice is similar enough to Lind’s, but like anyone else, it’s going to take time to get used to someone new in the role. She seems a bit more aggressive (I don’t know if that’s the right word), while Lind was much more mild-mannered in her speaking.

She didn’t have a lot to do for her first day but she got to leave the hospital and go back home. We’ll have to keep watching the rest of the week to really get a feel for how she’s going to meld into the group, especially with Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) and Sharon Case (Sharon Rosales), as Lind had been with them for years and really became an integral part of the show.

Overall, I don’t think it’s going to be bad, and Caster seemed to do fine for her first episode, but as I said, it’ll just take time to get used to it. I hope she does a great job and I look forward to seeing her continue her role as the new Faith Newman.
