‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) has encouraged Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to be there for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) while she faces her alcoholism.
But it seems like Diane is running out of tolerance because Jack keeps running to Nikki’s side when she’s drunk.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will soon notice this trend and figure out the true cause for Jack’s regular visits to Nikki’s life. Even though Victor isn’t happy that Jack is now Nikki’s sponsor, he tries to work things out with his wife.
Victor could allow Jack to get involved after Nikki’s most recent drunken outburst, but only if Nikki swears to keep her husband and Jack in the loop and not to cut them out. We all know that Nikki is struggling, but there could be a moment where she hits rock bottom.

Nikki is content with this arrangement, but Diane starts to feel envious and irritated when she sees how close Jack and Nikki are. Diane doesn’t say anything in spite of her worries since she wants to spend Valentine’s Day alone with Jack.
Jack intends to take Diane out to dinner and dancing when romantic festivities are taking place in Genoa City. But Jack could have to give Nikki’s urgent situation his whole attention once more, which would leave Diane waiting nervously or, worse, disturbed during their special evening.
This plot will weave Nikki’s upcoming drama with Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) looming danger over Genoa City. Jack may become involved in a crisis involving Jordan, which would compel him to give priority to the emergency and might cause Diane to feel abandoned.
